Statement
‘입을 수 있는 조각’ 시리즈인 (2007~)의 첫 설치와 퍼포먼스 작품을 부조 형식으로 재현했다.
“네 시작은 미약하나 네 나중은 심히 창대하리라.”(욥 8:7)라는 구절처럼, 매일의 일상이 축적되어 역사를 이루듯, 작품은 하루하루의 시작과 다짐이라는 첫걸음에 깊은 의미를 부여한다. 이는 작은 시작이 모여 거대한 변화와 성취로 이어질 수 있음을 강조하며, 창조와 실천의 가치를 환기한다.

The artist’s first installation and performance piece from the “Wearable Sculptures” series, (2007~), has been reinterpreted in relief form.
As reflected in the phrase, “Though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great” (Job 8:7), the work emphasizes the significance of daily beginnings and the determination that fuels them. Just as everyday life accumulates to shape history, it highlights the profound value of each small step, underscoring the potential for even modest starts to lead to monumental transformations and achievements.
