Atsushi Kaneoya (金親 敦)

As an artist, I [Atsushi Kaneoya] create works on the theme of visualization of invisible beings such as the soul, spirit, gods, youkai, and such.
We cannot see those beings, but when we imagine that they might be living their everyday lives right near us, we get a feeling or wish to confirm this with the eye, leading me to create yarn-made depictions of them.
In a way, I feel that an invisible being would appear as I gradually give shape and form to these depictions.
